Using Galactic
Review & send
The one screen that sends, and the limits that hold it back on purpose.
Sending a batch
Review & send previews the batch and sends it. The preview is not decorative: the gate reads the rendered batch, so a send without a fresh preview is refused rather than guessed at.
Caps and throttling
Three things hold a batch back, and they are separate — a send stops at whichever it reaches first.
- The daily cap
- Yours, set in Settings. For a new domain the right number is far lower than your provider will allow — start at twenty.
- Example: 20 a day — raise it by 10 once a week, not sooner
- The plan limit
- What you have bought, counted from what has actually been sent. A send that fails is not counted against it.
- Example: 1,340 of 5,000 sent this month
- The throttle
- A pause between messages. Two hundred sends in ninety seconds looks like exactly what it is.
- Example: 8 seconds between messages
